BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

serves 6

 

4 lbs pork ribs

1 jar Two Fat Guys Smoky BBQ sauce

1 tsp granulated garlic

salt/pepper

 

Instructions:

Heat grill to medium heat or oven to 300 degrees

 

Prepare ribs by removing the the bottom skin (optional). 

Combine granulated garlic, salt & pepper, rub all over ribs

Place ribs on sheet of aluminum foil, crimp to seal tightly

Grill ribs for 1 1/2 - 2 hours over indirect heat (or in 300 degree oven) for 2 hours

Remove from foil and sear over high grill heat for 2-3 minutes (or under broiler)**

Remove from high heat and apply Two Fat Guys BBQ sauce

Reduce grill heat to medium

Lightly reseal in foil keeping top portion open, continue to grill over indirect medium heat for an additional 20-25 minutes until bbq sauce is bubbly

 

**If baking: heat broiler, apply bbq sauce to ribs, place under broiler for 1-2 minutes, just until sauce is bubbly, turn over & repeat. You are ready to eat your delicious ribs.

 

 

Tip:

  • Sugar in the bbq sauce will burn easily. Applying at the end of grilling (broiling) to create a nice carmelization
