TFG recommend our Cherry BBQ Sauce

Cherry Flank Steak

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 lb. flank steak

16 bamboo skewers, soak in water for at least 15 minutes

1/4 cup olive oil

1 16 oz. jar Two Fat Guys Cherry BBQ sauce

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

3 finely chopped scallions

Kosher salt

Fresh ground black pepper

 

 

 

Cut steak into 12-16 pieces. 

 

 

 

 

 

Thread each piece of meat with soaked skewer.

 

 

 

 

 

Using a meat tenderizer, pound each piece of steak to a 1/4" thickness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Season each piece of steak with salt & pepper. Brush each side with olive oil, then brush generous amount of cherry bbq sauce on each side.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grill on high heat for 1-2 minutes, each side. Remove meat from grill, let rest 5 minutes or more.

Brush with additional cherry bbq sauce, top with fresh parsley and scallions.
